  David thought the plant was very big . He was shocked when he saw the plant. He was unentertained to see the plant and also questioned how it grew. David also saw insects crowding around the plant. He thought it grew by, from all the sun and water it was getting. At first he though the plant wasn't going to grow but it did. But when he saw it, it was bigger then him. He began to think about how photosynthesis had something to do with it growing so big. He learned that there are thousands of things living in one living thing, and how they are moving constantly inside them.

           Wilmer told me that he learned that before the Story of the Seed project he was curious on how the seeds will grow with the water we were using. Throughout the project he was amazed on how big it was growing in a short period of time. At first he saw that the plant wasn't growing as much so he thought it was dieing. But after a few weeks went by our teacher Mr. Bursch let us examine our plants to see how big they grew. When he saw it he was shocked on how big the plants grew. He said that he never knew that as small the seeds were that it can grow into a big plant with big leaves. Even i was surprised on how much and how big it grew. He cant wait till our teacher lets us go and see our plants and how much it grew. Wilmer said that this story of the seed project is fun because you get to learn a lot.

Juan thought the plant was very big. He was suprised when he saw the plant from up close. He was excited to see the plant and was wondering how it got to grow that big. Juan also saw a insect crawling on the plant. Juan said that he thought it grew, because  of the sun and the water it was getting. He thought the plant wasnt gonna grow that big, but then when he saw it it was almost as tall as him. He said photosynthesis had something to do with the plant growing so big. He learned that there is thousands of living thing in that one plant. He also thought that the animals were bad for the plant and he learned that some help the plant in different ways.

          Vanessa told me that she learned more form doing the project than from watching someone else do it. She told me that she was really curious before we started The Story of The Seed project because she didn't really know the way plants grow.  She was very surprised when she saw the little tiny seed grow out leaves and little roots. She told me that before we started the lab she knew she was gonna need the help of Mr. Bursch to completely understand the way plants grow. She said that after a few weeks when she saw the plants again she was shocked because the plants didn't look small anymore. The plants were very big with a lot of leaves and roots. She told me that she was really excited when she got the chance to plant the plants. She knew that they were gonna grow quickly. Later on when she went to see how the plants had grown she was astonished because the plants now had veggies and they were huge. She never expected to see that much change. Lastly, she told me that she was amazed on how much a plant can grow with just water, soil, and light in such a short period of time.

My Bio.

I am Juan Barrientos. I have lived in San Jose my whole life. I live with my mother and my sister in our one story house on Minnesota Ave. I was once very open and active, but now I have become a shut in and have no real contacts with the outside world I stay in my room as soon as I get home and go on my computer with the door locked. At school I am only open to my friends or people i have known for a long time. So I am mostly silent in class and avoid working in groups. I don't know why I am like this but I am.

We Need to Know

Currently, a lot of companies do not show the ingredients in their foods to those  who are consuming it. Companies do this for their own benefits because if people see the ingredients they may not buy their products. However, people want the companies to share what they put in their products. They want this because those ingredients determine their health. They also affect their present and future. Consumers are concerned because of bacteria, E. Coli, and other things that do harm to humans. E. Coli is the thing people are more concerned because it has killed several people in the past.
If companies want to have more customers they should share their ingredients with the world. Companies should do this so that the customers can make better decisions that will benefit the companies with profits.This will happen because the customers will trust more the companies who share their ingredients. Then the companies will have more customers which means that they will make more profits.
Even though people should have the right to know what is in the food they consume some people believe companies should not share their ingredients because they are not forcing anyone to buy their products. There is no law in the United States that forces people to buy anything. However, if people do not buy products that companies produce the companies will not succeed. Therefore, it is better for  companies should share their ingredients because it will benefit them and the people consuming the products.
In conclusion, companies should share the ingredients in their products so they can earn more customers. They should also do this it will benefit them and the people in many ways. People should have the right to know what is in the foods they consume.

As of right now, several food companies don’t share the ingredients they put in the food they make. They do this because it will be a violation to the companies rules and the workers can lose money from their checks if they aren't doing what they are suppose to. Food companies should label the ingredients in the food they make because food quality determines people’s health and it will help people make better choices on what to buy..

One reason why food companies should share the ingredients in the food they make is because food quality determines people’s health. For example, if an adult or child is allergic to a certain ingredient or they can’t eat certain foods because of health reasons, they won’t know what’s in the food because the ingredients are not labeled. Many people want to see the ingredients in their food so that they can protect their health and or their child’s health. Therefore, people should have the right to know what’s in their food.

Another reason why food companies should label the ingredients in their food is because it will help people make better choices on what to buy. For instance, if a person is at a store and they are determining what type of food is healthier for them they won’t be able to make their choice because the ingredients isn’t labeled. Without the food ingredients labeled, people will have a hard time determining which food is healthier. Therefore, food companies should label the ingredients in the food they make.

Others may think that the food companies that don’t label the food they make won’t be as much of an issue because people are not forced to buy any particular food in the U.S if they don’t want to. People who complain about not knowing the ingredients in the food are not forced to buy it.They can easily look for something else to buy that shows the ingredients.However, knowing what’s in the food will help protect people’s health and help make better choices on what to buy.

In conclusion, People should have the right to know what’s in their food because food quality determines people’s health and it will help people know what food is healthier for them.

My name is David Munoz i am originally from mexico. I came here with my family when i was two years old.My grandpa has a lot of ranches in mexico. Sometimes over the summer i go and visit over there. My grandpa also does horse racing and is very good at it. My grandpa has a total of fifteen ranches.                        

 My grandmas cooking is really good she makes the best enchiladas ever. She also makes good sopes, sopes is like a bun with meat or cheese u can put what ever you want on them. My grandpa has the best BBQ he puts this recipe that he wont tell anyone and it comes out really good. He has his BBQ in his ranch and he has a lot of animals so you never get bored in his BBQ.

My name is Vanessa Renee Sarinana. Ive lived in San Jose most of my life but for the first 2 years i lived in Los Gatos. I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers but they are all older than me so i'm the youngest.
     

I like to cook only sometimes. Between my mom and my dad i like my moms cooking because she cooks really good food but my dad is also a good cook too. I learned how to cook by asking my mom if i can watch her while she cooks. Not only my mom cooks good, she also takes care of her plants too. She pants different stuff in our small backyard. She plants chillies , lemons, fruits, and even flowers too. Sometimes my mom tells me to help her water the plants so i do but i don't really want to. Between cooing and taking care of plants i like cooking the most.

My name is Wilmer Escobar. I've live here in San Jose since I was born. I live with my parents and my siblings. i have family thats live in Madera, Hollister,and Los Angeles.


I don't like to cook, but I really love to eat the food that my mom makes. My mom knows how to cook very well, she learned everything she knows because of my grandmother. In my opinion my grandmother was the best cook I ever met. She passed away a couple years ago. Her favorite thing to do was to garden. She had a huge garden in her backyard full of vegetables. She would always have some kind of vegetable growing in her garden. It was her passion. My favorite thing to eat that my grandmother always made was rice with a whole bunch of veggies. Now my mom cook the rice for me with the same taste and the same amount of veggies.
